ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The University of Regina Media Production & Studies department has been achieving excellence both in media production and critical media theory. It is the only BFA program in film and video production between Vancouver and Toronto. This festival has been around for 25 years and is going big this year! There will be workshops, screenings, a gala, and a full awards ceremony!
MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The 25th University of Regina Film Festival, newly dubbed the Living Skies Student Film Festival, strives to showcase student films from Saskatchewan, Canada, and around the world. This includes students from high schools, universities, and technical colleges. Our goal is to not only screen these films but to workshop with people who have experience in the film industry, host a gala during which attendees can mingle, and present a full awards ceremony honouring excellent student filmmakers.
